(DCR1-CS1)
The DCR1 Standard with FEP Cable & Enhanced Relay Connections
Chemical-resistant flame detection with enhanced relay flexibility for complex industrial systems.
(DCR1-CS1)
Chemical-resistant flame detection with enhanced relay flexibility for complex industrial systems.
The DCR1-CS1 adds both FEP jacketed cable and enhanced relay connections to the standard DCR1 platform. Detection performance, housing, and approvals are identical to the base DCR1.
This configuration is selected when the control system requires separate Fire, Verify Fire, and Fault relay outputs, when cable routing passes through chemically aggressive zones, or when a facility needs full chemical resistance and advanced signaling without optical self-test.
If your project calls for both chemical-resistant cabling and expanded relay functionality, we can review the application and make sure the DCR1-CS1 aligns with your system requirements.
Wet benches and fabrication tools requiring Verify Fire output for tiered alarm systems in chemically aggressive environments.
Processing equipment where multi-relay integration and FEP cable protection are both required by facility specifications.
Corrosive process equipment where expanded relay signaling supports multi-zone safety architectures.

What is the difference between the DCR1-CS1 and the DCR1-AS1?
The DCR1-CS1 adds enhanced relay connections (Verify Fire and Fault) in addition to FEP cable. The DCR1-AS1 has FEP cable only with standard Fire and Fault relay outputs.
What relay outputs does the DCR1-CS1 include?
Fire Relay (N.O. or N.C.), Verify Fire Relay, and Fault Relay. The Verify Fire Relay energizes independently when verified fire conditions are met.
Does the DCR1-CS1 include optical self-test?
No. For the enhanced relay configuration with both FEP cable and optical self-test, see the DCR1-CT1.
Is the DCR1-CS1 approved for hazardous locations?
Yes. Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T4. Also Class 1 Zone 2.
What is the operating temperature range?
Operating: −40°C to +85°C. Humidity: up to 90%.
What are the cable specifications?
22 AWG, 14-conductor FEP jacketed cable, factory installed.
