(DCR1-CT1)
The DCR1 Self-Test with FEP Cable & Enhance Relay Connections
Maximum durability and integration flexibility within the DCR1 platform.
(DCR1-CT1)
Maximum durability and integration flexibility within the DCR1 platform.
The DCR1-CT1 combines every enhancement available in the DCR1 family: automated optical self-test, FEP jacketed cable, and expanded relay connections: in a single factory-built unit.
This configuration is selected when the application requires chemical resistance at every connection point, automated verification of detector health, and separate Fire, Verify Fire, and Fault relay outputs for multi-layer control system integration.
If your project requires the full DCR1 feature set—self-test, FEP cable, and enhanced relays— Sierra can help confirm the CT1 aligns with your control architecture.
Enclosed fabrication tools and wet benches requiring self-test, FEP cable, and Verify Fire output for tiered alarm systems in corrosive environments.
Processing equipment where all three enhancements — automated verification, chemical-resistant cabling, and expanded relay signaling — are specified.
Corrosive process equipment with multi-zone safety architectures requiring full integration capability and automated health monitoring.

What makes the DCR1-CT1 different from other DCR1 models?
The DCR1-CT1 includes all three DCR1 enhancements: automated optical self-test, FEP jacketed cable, and enhanced relay connections (Verify Fire and Fault). No other DCR1 configuration combines all three.
What relay outputs does the DCR1-CT1 include?
Fire Relay (N.O. or N.C.), Verify Fire Relay, and Fault Relay. The Verify Fire Relay energizes independently when verified fire conditions are met.
How does the DCR1-CT1 compare to the DCR1-CS1?
The DCR1-CS1 has FEP cable and enhanced relays but no self-test. The DCR1-CT1 adds automated optical self-test to that same configuration.
Is the DCR1-CT1 approved for hazardous locations?
Yes. Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T4. Also Class 1 Zone 2.
What is the operating temperature range?
Operating: −40°C to +85°C. Humidity: up to 90%.
What are the cable specifications?
22 AWG, 14-conductor FEP jacketed cable, factory installed.
